    I don’t know why …
I don’t know why you don’t hear the sounds even though Stereomix is selected in the recording mixer. That you hear yourself through the microphone could be because you have to mute the microphone in the output mixer (the one that pops up when double clicking the sound tray icon).

  2. yea, but when i …
yea, but when i click select, and then enable the sound, all that happens is that my psp does somethin real strange…
I talk into my psp and hear this echo of me… but no sound from the pc or anything.. just the wierd echoing. please help, cause i dont kno how to fix this…

  3. It seems to depend …
It seems to depend on the driver. Some have checkboxes for muting the inputs, some use the boxes for selecting the inputs. In your case, you should only “select” the Stereomix input.

  4. When I go to select …
When I go to select a soundcard in the audio properties box, there are two Realteks, one saying Realtek audio output, and one saying Realtek audio input… the input one has the stereomix, but the check boxes change to “Select” intsead of “Mute/Disable)

    Any Help??

    Sound streaming …
Sound streaming only works when you can select a “Stereo Mix” or “What you hear” input to record from.
You could try to find a different driver for your sound card or use a patch cable between the “line out” and the “line in”. Then select the “line in” for recording.
