    I’d like to get mesen sewed to him. Back skins. Nothing golfy. Pure inconvenience for our dear Maynard/Lanyard. He’d end up despising me pretty quickly but it’d be worth it. I can win him over by doing most of the physical work. Yes, there’s the long term. Please tell him to expect this happening. There’s a good chap.

    That’s precisely what maynard wants. He doesn’t like to ruin the feeling that he is trying to express by allowing people to be distracted by his face. There has always been an element of mysteriousness to Tool, which would not be there if Maynard and the guy’s had lights blasting in their faces which would reveal a more human-like presence. Tool, as a whole, as well as Maynard as an individual performer are…. somewhat Alien-like. But, Maynard is NOTHING like this outside of Tool.

    They really are great.

    Sports can be an artform too ya know. Sit down and watch a good soccer/football or basketball game and tell me thats not art. Most of the greats consider their game an artform.

    As a fellow Jayhawk fan I know Danney Carey understands this too.
