How did Bush influence a Democrat congress to dig this hole in 2008? And Bush never had the supermajority that Obama just wasted in 2009! Obama can’t influence a Democrat congress to fix things? Who controlled congress in November ‘08? Democrats, since the ‘04 election congress has had a Democrat majority. That’s when the economy started to tank. The president isn’t a dictator who is solely responsible for the country’s successes and failures. That responsibility mostly goes to the legislative branch. Learn some political science before you spew partisan bullshit.
