I want to watch the Jets take on the Saints. Unfortunately I live 60 miles from Buffalo so the only game that will be on is the Bills, Dolphins game. Who wants to watch that? Not me. I don’t have an AM radio, is there any live audio of games online?

How to launch my own online radio station?

Posted by admin on March 6th, 2010 and filed under online radio | 1 Comment »

Hi there,

I am interested creating my own website with my own online radio streaming. How can I do this without signing up on those sites??

Thank you very much.

You have to pay for a site and do quite a few things I have no knowledge of. If you went somewhere like godaddy, you’d get a better idea of the costs, the risks and the things you need to do.

Does anyone have any ideas for an Online radio station name?

Posted by admin on March 4th, 2010 and filed under online radio | 1 Comment »

I am launching an online radio station, but the names I have looked at are being used already. I need ideas, the format is talk, as I do not want to pay a PRS licence so I’m not bothering with music. We have people ringing in and a talk format. Any ideas?

I think that if you have the facilities to launch an Internet Radio station, then surely you should be able to conjure up an original name for it. In my experience, talking and phone-in radio stations are not very edifying because the ranters wish to use the airwaves to bully listeners verbally.
As I am a member of P.R.S. for Music and P.P.L., I think that it is pathetic to wish to dodge payment on those grounds. I have had to sacrifice a normal life merely to be a musician and songwriter which does not bring in too much cash. I receive royalties from global radio stations from P.P.L. but I have not caught up with Internet Radio yet.
Certainly you have the option, but a radio station without even a jingle may as well be walkie talkie hobby jobby.

How can I record online radio songs as separate songs?

Posted by admin on March 3rd, 2010 and filed under online radio | 1 Comment »

Im currently using Screamer Radio to record the songs, but it doesn’t record the songs individually, so I have to use another software to edit the mp3 file. It’s just one huge file with as many songs until I stop recording. I want it to automatically open a new file each time a new song plays. Has anyone used an online radio recording software which records each track individually? What can I use?
I don’t want to physically record with a tape recorder.

The thing is recorders cannot detect a song change. All it does record the audio until someone presses the stop button. You’re going to have to manually stop everytime.

What I do is record say ten minutes at a time. Then I chop the waveform up to its individual songs. Then go through the trouble of naming them and tagging them.

If you’re using a desktop, you can feed the audio out to the sound card’s line in and record the audio.

I’m addicted to radio paradise dot com. I haven’t put the link because last time when I did it got deleted (apparently I once more fell foul of the holy Yahoo book of rules and regulations).
Which online radio channels do you listen to?

Q107.com

It’s not just an online station but you can’t get it on our radio unless you live in Toronto & area. Perfect classic rock station.

What would be a good online radio station?

Me and my bff lauren want to host our own FREE LIVE online radio show. I don’t want shoutcast, or ubroadcast, or winamp, or blog talk radio. PREFIBLY without a download.

well, you can go for live365.com but once you host your radio station, make sure you inform it to http://www.booksofall.info

its a website for main ebooks but they provide a cool toolbar in which radio is embedded. it will make a huge publicity of your radio for free……
you can also download its toolbar to see it. its there on the site
